Различают несколько вариантов стандартных условий С.с.: 1) 'полные', при которых страховщик возмещает убытки от гибели и повреждения судна и застрахованного имущества вследствие целого комплекса причин, не имеющих социально-политической подоплеки; 2) 'без ответственности за частную аварию' (страхуются те же самые риски, что и в предыдущем случае, но ответственность страховщика не возникает по частной аварии, под которой понимается любое повреждение застрахованного имущества, не подпадающее под понятие общей аварии); 3) 'без ответственности за повреждение' (страховщик не отвечает ни за какие повреждения застрахованного судна - ни за случайные, ни за те, которые были причинены ему и его оборудованию намеренно и разумно в целях спасения. Доля судовладельца в общей аварии возмещается за вычетом расходов на ремонт судна); 4) 'только от полной гибели' (самые узкие условия, согласно которым ответственность страховщика наступает лишь в случае гибели судна). .
